Community Activities

Marlin Jenner has been active in his church since 1979, serving as an Elder in his local church as well as on several state wide committees, and as Vice Moderator of the South Dakota Presbytery. He also served as Financial Secretary for the local church for more than six years.

Marlin has served on the Advisory Board for the Glacial Lakes Retired and Senior Volunteer Program for the local five county area and as Chairman of the Board since 2006.

Marlin had participated and was an officer in the local LIONS Club until 2005, at which time the group disbanded.

Marlin has been a active member of the:

• Masons
• Scottish Rite
• Yelduz Shrine for more than 25 years

Marlin has been a judge for:

• Local 4H Achievement Days
• The District and State FCCLA

Marlin served as board member for the SD FFA Foundation and Board Chairman for one year in the early years of its' inception in SD in the 1970's. Marlin has served as City Alderman for the City of Sisseton since 2003. He has been active in participating with the QBE Farmers Union Insurance award presentations at state South Dakota High School Activities Association state events.

Marlin feels it is very important to be active in the community to give back to the people of the community.
