What is an insurance claim? An insurance claim is the actual application for benefits provided by an insurance company. Policy holders must first file an insurance claim before any money can be disbursed to the hospital or repair shop or other contracted service. If the unfortunate event of a loss occurs, it's at least comforting to know that we're on the case for you, that your claim will be handled promptly and fairly, and that you are kept “in the loop” through one-on-one attention and courtesy calls.
